The founder of the God's Messengers Church is called Pastor Bukuru Ruburaga Nabahena, born in 1973, married and father of three kids. He is from Uvira zone, South-Kivu province in the Democratic Republic of Congo, but actually settled in Nyarugusu refugee camp located in Kigoma province, in the United Republic of Tanzania from november 1996. It is just in the above mentioned camp that the God's Messengers church came into being. When he was 18 years of age (in 1991) he got his State Diploma in Pedagogy General in Uvira where he started working as a teacher for some years and, in the meantime he participated in the creation of a cultural and non-profit making association where he became a secretary and librarian as well as a special consellor of that association's co-ordinator. As soon as he entered the camp he started teaching English to his fellow refugees within a private training Centre till the year 2001 when he was recruited as a teacher of English within one of the secondary schools in Nyarugusu Camp. Till today. Early in 1998 he decided to learn the international and universal language "Esperanto" and, in july 2000 he initiated an Esperanto club named "Zilbernik Esperanto-Klubo" which is now registered in the world esperantist office in "Netherlands". For the time being, he is learning italian and spanish languages. A part from that, he is also attending the social work training by distance learning from "Artevelde Hogeschool" established in Gent - Belgium where he got a scholarship. The whole course programme covers 4 academic years. God willing, he will enter the 3-rd academic year in february 2005. In the spiritual context Pastor Bukuru was born in a christian (protestant) family. From his childhood, he started taking part in the Sunday School where he got his first knowledge on God and Jesus Christ. After being baptised in deep water in 1988 he was then appointed as the head of that Sunday School. Some years later, he initiated a juniors choir from the senior children of the same Sunday School. It was prosperious and appreciated. The choir used to sing in all ordinary sunday's cults from which a prayng programme was set out. All the choir's members participated in the saturday sittings which were designed to seek for the Holy Spirit's leadership power and blessings for the Sunday's Ceremonies or cults. Sooner after that, he was nominated as a Secretary in the same church. Then deacon, and youths leader. For sure, he was much appreciated for his zeal in the ecclesiastical activities. But as far as he was growing up both in flash and spiritually a pertinent question came up to his mind as from the biblical teaching that he had then, the answer to the question: "Where will the righteous live eternally?". Unclear and unconvincing. To get a satisfying and clear answer to this question, he decided to attend a Bible course whose programme encounted four school years. but having not gotten an adaquate answer to his question, he gave up his studies after two years. This is what induced him to examine profoundly the Holy Scriptures (Bible). With the help of some of his christian friends, especially Pastor Djuma Ndazigana, Shendera Esau, Mahenga Liromba and Bashombe Daniel, they found out new discoveries that are somehow different from the basic knowledge they had previously even if a large part of their early knowledge remained constant. In the main intention of spreading out the biblical truth, that is the reason why, the founder, together with his associates, finally decided to found a new christian church denomination which they named in french "Eglise des Messagers de Dieu" (E.M.D.), "God's messengers church". Having been founded on 11-th march, 2002, the church is from then up to know operational in the Congolese refugees Camps settled in Kigoma province, in the United Republic of Tanzania.
